The Original Arkie Jig
THE ORIGINAL ARKIE JIG
The all-purpose bass jig built around the head shape that helped make “Arkie” a jig category anglers recognize.
CAST IT. FLIP IT. SKIP IT. DRAG IT. HOP IT. SWIM IT.
WHY THE ARKIE HEAD WORKS
The balanced Arkie head is designed to keep the jig riding naturally through cover, on bottom and in the water column instead of constantly rolling onto its side. That makes one jig useful for rock, wood, docks, brush, grass edges and open-water presentations.
HOW TO FISH IT
Cast it across points and rock. Flip or pitch it into cover. Skip it beneath docks. Drag or hop it on bottom. Swim it when bass are feeding up.
COLOR STARTING POINT
Black & Blue or Black for stained water and low light. Green Pumpkin, Missouri Craw and Bluegill are dependable natural choices when visibility improves.
TRAILERS
Pair it with a craw-style jig trailer or Twin Tail Grub. Use a smaller trailer for a compact profile or a larger trailer when you want more bulk and movement.
BUILD
Available in 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 oz. Built with an Eagle Claw Micro Honed hook, silicone skirt and Arkie’s Rattle Band collar.
ARKIE HERITAGE
Arkie’s current product history identifies the Original Arkie Jig with major tournament wins, state records and generations of bass fishing. That history is part of why the head style became known simply as an “Arkie” jig.
