For the creeks and waters of Tennessee you cant beat the arki silver minnow. We ha e spent over $500 through the yrs. We have caught alot of fish from bluegill, redfish, rock bass, large mouth and small mouth bass even got a gar hooked a couple times.... we wont go out for a day of fishing without them.
I have bought several of your crankbaits, different sizes and colors. I fish rivers mostly and they get results. I have caught every thing from perch to walleye using them. As other reviews have stated these have the sharpest hooks around.
These baits catch fish. Try reeling down and stop and allow the lure to make a circle on the top of the water. Pause it for a second and repeat but have a good hold of your reel. It's been so good this spring that I haven't casted many top waters for bass.
This is one of my favorite lures. I ALWAYS get a bite on it whenever I use it. Sunfish, crappie, pickerel, bass, perch, fallfish, just about any species will bite this. It's great for bigger fish when they just aren't taking larger baits. Only downside is that the hooks tend to bend when I hook up on a bass or pickerel, but I've still caught some 2-3 lb largemouth on it... just need to be very careful when reeling them in or change the hooks out with stronger ones.
