A compact hand-tied hair jig that has been catching crappie, bluegill and panfish for generations.
WHY IT WORKS
Kip tail provides a streamlined profile with more body than marabou and less stiffness than bucktail. Flash can trigger reaction bites, while the 90-degree line tie helps the jig swim horizontally and remain in the strike zone.
HOW TO FISH IT
Cast and slow-swim it, vertical jig it, or fish beneath a float with slow pops and pauses. It can also be tipped with a minnow.
